On the occasion of the 2016 Annual Meeting on Christian Origins, the CISSR Organizing Committee offers to all participants and their accompanying persons the opportunity to join an archaeological trip to Ostia Antica, the harbour city of ancient Rome. The excursion will be leaded by renowned archaeologists and experts.

Travel Program
October 2 — Rome / Ostia Antica (Day 1)
1. Departure from Forlì train station (near Bertinoro). Destination: “Roma Termini”. Tickets from € 38 to € 48, depending from the hour of departure.
2. Private bus from “Roma Termini” to Ostia Antica. Destination: Ostia Antica Park Hotel. Dinner and night in hotel.
N.B. If we leave Bertinoro early in the morning (8 or 9 a.m.), we can have a first visit at Ostia in the afternoon.
October 3 — Ostia Antica (Day 2)
Breakfast. Public bus (nr. 4, every 15 minutes) to Ostia Antica. In the afternoon back to the hotel. Dinner.
October 4 — Ostia Antica (Day 3)
Breakfast. Public bus (nr. 4, every 15 minutes ) to Ostia Antica. In the afternoon back to the hotel. Dinner.
October 5 — Ostia Antica / Rome (Day 4)
Breakfast. With a private bus, possible visit to the Trajan’s Forum (reservation required). Trip to Roma Termini station or Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci).
